"It's literally been glued to my Ally X since I got it. They are one piece. Worth every penny."
Neil B.
"Honestly I was a little skeptical at first. But I gotta say, I'm a believer now. Holds phone in both orientations and holds it well. It doesn't slip or turn unless I want it to. I ended up getting other mounts too. Great Stuff!"
Benjamin W
"I hate that I actually really love it, but it's genuinely so good."

Evolves with you and your devices.
We are not just a brand. Our ecosystem is built out of spite for bad design to expand with you as your collection grows.
Open Source Spirit
We don’t hoard innovation, we share it. Our designs started on Reddit and we always give away 3D files for free. If you’re a maker, you’re in the right place.
Small team, big ideas
No boardrooms. No VC money. We're just a few people solving real gaming problems like it's our job. Oh wait, it is.
Less friction. More function.
Every product exists because something out there sucked. Our reviews don’t lie. People use words like “finally,” “perfect,” and “why didn’t this exist before?”
The only mounting system made just for gamers.
We’re building an ecosystem that makes your setup cleaner, your sessions longer, and your life easier. Every product fits together. Every new release upgrades the last, fixing all the pain in so called "Portable Gaming".
Over 100,000 orders later, we’re still weird, still scrappy, and still giving away free 3D files so you can build, remix, or hack it yourself.
Welcome to the only gaming brand where frustration leads to innovation - and your arms don’t fall asleep mid-boss fight.

In all honesty, we want to do business in an upfront and honest way. If you feel you deserve it, we will most likely honor it.
Chat us and you'll reach one of two people: Siri, the founder, or Saibi, his cousin that helps with customer service every once in a while.
The things that don't require good vibes though: Manufacturing defects, design problems, if specific things are breaking at no fault of your own.
Critically: we want to know what broke and how. This isn't to pass judgement on you. It helps us make the product better in the future, and to make sure your issue isn't something widespread.

Will Mechanism make me a better gamer?
Yes.
- Simple, sturdy, and functional. No complaints!
- The fit is so good, that it clicks into place. This is an A+ quality product.
- Fabulous design makes using the Steam Deck dock with the adapter better than the original dock.
Slots right into the Steam dock, and the Deckmate-equipped handheld now fits perfectly.
Adapter is built well and installs very easily. Steam Deck fits in at a bit of an angle, but then sits just as it would without the deckmate. Highly recommend!
It supports my Deck on the dock with the Deckmate mount. Sometimes it does try to come up with the dexk when I remove it, but its not a huge deal. And as I've docked and undocked a few times it seems to be less of an issue.
Fits the two different steam docks I have well, added a little bit of double sided tape to the bottom for one of them, but couldn't be happier.
Doesn’t work when you have a protective case
Exactly as described. The steam deck is able to stay upright and affixed. My only gripe could be that its a bit too affixed at times.
Fabulous design makes using the Steam Deck dock with the adapter+DeckMate better than the original dock without: The adapter uses the extra lip created by the DeckMate to ensure a more secure docking. I was dubious of the utility but am now enthusiast user
Simple, sturdy, and functional. No complaints!
Just what I needed!
Love not having to take off the deckmate to use the dock anymore.
The fit is perfect and very secure. Worth the price.
This adapter is a perfect fit all around!
I have been using a 3D printed insert for months. While it worked this one feels more secure and looks much cleaner on my desk.
Snaps perfectly! Another reason I'm glad I got the official Steam Deck Dock!
The fit is so good, that it clicks into place. The steam deck also fits snugly into the adapter. This is an A+ quality product.
