Sadly the mount was defective and was missing the spring component. I’m still waiting for them to respond.

I finally tested it, and it's exactly what I expected.
I hope mechanism can find a better deal to send their products to Europe because I cannot justify (to my girlfriend and myself and anybody, actually) the shipping cost (around $50) if I just want to buy small pieces to complement my experience.
Not much to write about this other than it does exactly what it says. Keeps my arms from getting tired from holding the steam deck while gaming on the couch. Very soft. You can lay your phone on the base while gaming as well and look up guides or YouTube in the background or whatever. The only con I have is not being able to use it because my Chihuahua always wants to be in my lap! It's soft and light enough she doesn't mind me setting it on top of her and also keeps her warm.
Can hold up the weight of both a Steam Deck, and an iPad Pro 11 inch (horizontally). There’s a springiness to the hinge that makes this very comfortable to prop up the Steam Deck with on a desk while you’re gaming.
The whole versatile ecosystem of the Get Mechanism thing is what sets it apart from basically anything else out there, and the phone mount is 100% part of that. You can attach this to the gaming pillow or to your handheld PC of choice, or anything else if you get a Universal Grip for it, as well.
Love this thing. Made gaming so much easier and somehow more fun. It’s effectively a must-have if you’re looking to get a Steam Deck (or ROG Ally, etc) at all. The innovative ecosystem of the whole thing is really what seals the deal, with all the other compatible accessories at Get Mechanism, but just the Gaming Pillow itself is more than worth it on its own.
The pillow is awesome! Smooth, stretchy fabric, whatever is inside is veeeery finely grained, the arm is very sturdy and if you really want to, you can swap the mount with some other ball-joint one - it's compatible.
Now, I did forget to grab a universal grip and even so, I'm using the pillow. Works great for a phone/ tablet/ Steam Deck stand just by leaning it against the arm 😄

The pillow's description casually drops that you'll experience no more tingles. Thrilled to report that this is a massive understatement. I've had issues handling the weight and size of the Steam Deck that eventually led to persistent problems with my thumb, not to mention the strain it puts on the wrists.
Since using this pillow I haven't experienced any pain or discomfort from even extended periods of play, whether its balanced on my lap when I'm sitting up or perched on my chest when I'm fully horizontal in goblin mode. Absolutely delivers, worth every penny, highly recommend!
I don’t use the gaming pillow all the time but I’ve found myself using it a lot while playing Hades 2. Helps my arms and wrists relax without having to worry about how I’m holding my steam deck.
The design and execution for the Allymate Grip is flawless. I can game for hours on the Gaming Pillow - not the greatest thing for productivity, but if you got to do it, do it with the best grip out there for the Gaming Pillow!

Fits perfectly and feels better than the accessories that come with the modcase.
Play mostly in bed and this has best for my gaming comfort. My only issue is, at lower angles, the arm can't withstand the weight. But its most likely the JSAUX modcase adding more weight for it to handle. Still functional and nothing damaged. Very soft pillow too.
