In all honesty, we want to do business in an upfront and honest way. If you feel you deserve it, we will most likely honor it.

The things that don't require good vibes though: Manufacturing defects, design problems, if specific things are breaking at no fault of your own.
Critically: we want to know what broke and how. This isn't to pass judgement on you. It helps us make the product better in the future, and to make sure your issue isn't something widespread.

Yes.
Went to change the batteries on my Series X controller and the panel would *not* come off. Finally tried to force it upward a bit with my thumbs and the bottom center peg shattered off inside my controller. I had bought another for a second controller and had the same problem...but luckily was able to pry it off very carefully.
Tried the remaining panel on that second controller and although it does come off, it's about 5 times as difficult as removing your normal battery cover.

Sorry you had two Xbox Controller grips break! With the xbox controller, it helps to press the grip off in line with the plane of the controller back, rather than pressing in as that can lever the locking tabs up in to the inside of the controller geometry, but I'm still sorry that happened! We do have a lifetime warranty on all of our items, if you shoot me over a message on the website or an email, I'm happy to reimburse you for the extra grip or send a new one if you need.

the back cover got completely stuck to the back of the controller. i had to pry it off with a screwdriver. wouldn't recommend it if you use regular batteries with your controller.

I don't think the sticky side of the magnet rings is strong enough? The magnet pulled it right off my phone with the first ring.
The item itself is a 5 star replacement for the battery cover.
Could be a nice one to try offering other colours though as my controller has a pure white back.
