How It Works
The new mount is made up of 5 parts, a Mechanism spring loaded mount, an extension arm with a ¼-20 tripod nut, and a Magsafe mount, each connected by a GoPro screw.
Unfasten the GoPro screw and flip the MagSafe mount to support both portrait and landscape modes above and below a handheld system.
Securely latch the mount with the new mechanical lock and support the weight of any phone.

I use it with my jsaux modcase (sorry siri) with a 3d printed deckmate adapter (files provided by jsaux). Works great. One reason I use it this way is I want to have a kickstand and the phone mount.
I do sometimes take the case off and use the deckmate grip if I want to go slim.
