Does it work with the Switch 2 and the Killswitch?
We are working on a Switch 2 specific solution, which you can see here.
If you have a case on your Switch 2, including dBrand's Killswitch, we are fully compatible using the Universal Grip.

Does it work with my device?
In short, YES!
In long, yes with a caveat. We have released device specific grips for the following devices:
- Steam Deck
- Nintendo Switch
- ROG Ally
- ROG Ally X
- PS Portal
For all other devices, including if you have a case on your device, we recommend the Universal Grip.

Will it hold my phone?
Yes!
You can attach your phone to the bottom Mechanism clip on the hard pillow top using the Phone mount.
Here is how to configure your Phone Mount to work with the Gaming Pillow.
If you would like to mount your phone to the main arm on the Gaming Pillow you will need the Magsfae Innie.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, but because we are such a small company, we don't have the scale or volume to get good rates. This means that sometimes these rates are ludicrous.
Just know that we do not make money on this. What you pay is what we pay. It's just a shitty thing that exists because we aren't big enough yet.
What does your lifetime warranty mean?
In all honesty, we want to do business in an upfront and honest way. If you feel you deserve it, we will most likely honor it.
Chat us and you'll reach one of two people: Siri, the founder, or Saibi, his cousin that helps with customer service every once in a while.
The things that don't require good vibes though: Manufacturing defects, design problems, if specific things are breaking at no fault of your own.
Critically: we want to know what broke and how. This isn't to pass judgement on you. It helps us make the product better in the future, and to make sure your issue isn't something widespread.
Will the product make me a better gamer?
Yes.
Great concept but the neck holding the device snapped very easily on 2 of them that I had. One lasted a fairly heavy amount of use with my Switch, one barely survived at all. Whatever printing mechanism they use is not great.
Sorry you've had your pillows break! while none of our parts are printed, this is definitely not expected, and we actually offer a lifetime warranty on all of our parts. If you send me over a message on the website, I'm happy to get you sorted with replacement parts to get you back up and running!
I have syringomyelia, which makes my hands hurt and sometimes get really weak. The Nintendo Switch 2 was just too heavy and large to play handheld comfortably for me, and this pillow changed everything! Now I can lie in bed and use my pro controller while this is mounted on the pillow! It's great!
Also ordering one for my mom so she can use it with her tablet.

I can't begin to describe how much I love this thing. My quality of life has improved significantly. The quality of the pillow, the ease of installation, and my hands no longer get numb. Do I need to use my phone? No problem — the Legion Go 2 just floats there waiting for me. 5 Stars!!

I'm handicapped and this made my ability to play cod mobile a million times more enjoyable absolutely love it and the quality is fantastic!
This gaming pillow is super comfortable, but it has one small flaw, which I will get to later in my review. My hands don’t get tingly anymore when I am holding my steam deck. It is super convenient to have something that holds it for you.
My one and only complaint is the locking mechanism for the mail to female part. The gaming device will sometimes pop off the arm when you are trying to tighten the ball socket to keep the device from flopping everywhere. This also happens after you do tighten it enough to keep the gaming device steady and then you try to pivot the device on its X or Y axis. I find myself having to grab both the male and female connection parts to pivot the device into the orientation that I need. So basically the male-female connection needs to be strengthened somehow.
Other than that, this thing is perfect. It is exactly what I needed when I am gaming on my couch or on my bed.
I used to envy other people’s desk gaming setups but a gaming pillow plus your device and a MagSafe iPad mini/phone is the way. Pillow quality is great as well as the quality of the plastic pieces. I also bought the kickstand now my ps portal can stand on its own.
This pillow works great. I always felt the steam deck was really clunky and difficult to play. Now that the gaming pillow is holding it up, I get way more use out of it. Can highly recommend!
I'm chronically ill and spend a good amount of time in bed if I can't handle being at my desk, and the Switch 2 - while being my go-to handheld - is not super handheld-friendly. It's heavy, and a bit too large for many comfortable positions. I'm grateful to be able to have the Gaming Pillow on my lap, or set up nearby in a way that feels secure!
I am enjoying my mechanism pillow thus far, and overall my experience with mechanism as a company is extremely positive. Great customer service.
There is room for some improvements in this device In my opinion. Primarily I think the pillow needs to be heavier. Using a device like the legion go s with killswitch case can easily cause the pillow to topple towards you when laying down and having the arm tilted low, which is pretty much required for a mostly reclined position.
However. There's a silver lining here in that regard. Imagine you redesigned a new 2.0 pillow, but rather than just adding some gusseted sections with a denser material to add weight, you added a Bluetooth speaker system. You could even go a step further and add a usb c dock system on the top so that you could plug your device into the pillow, and the pillow to power. Allowing a couple more usb c connections for controllers or other devices.
Now certainly some would want that, but definitely I think most would want the speaker system. I think you'd be hard pressed to keep them in stock if the price wasn't crazy.
Anyways I am enjoying this product, and looking forward to many comfortable evenings of gaming to come. And the Bluetooth variant. Keep up the great work.
Literal game changer, haven't gone a day without using this since it arrived! Very comfortable and removes all the weight of whatever device you're using. I use this with the legion go 2 and couldn't imagine gaming without it. If you're on the fence about getting this, PULL THE TRIGGER AND GET IT!
Really pleased with this gaming pillow. I use it woth my Steam Deck and JSAUX Modcase using the Mod case adaptor and its been brilliant. All the parts feel solid and well made. It's super comfortable and I pretty much leave my Deck attached to the pillow all the time and carry it around the house. Really glad I purchased this, no regrets whatsoever.
Doesn’t feel like a premium product. Adjusting is a tedious process. It seems like it’s going to strip easily from so much adjusting in the beginning. It’s simply ok but there are cheaper alternatives which I discovered post purchased that I would’ve went with instead.
.... That I didn't buy this sooner. It has been an absolute game changer when sitting or laying down while playing on my Switch 2 in handheld mode, with a universal grip attached to the back of my Killswitch, sometimes with a Pro Controller 2 for even more comfort. In fact, using the pillow is the ONLY way I will play my Switch 2 in handheld mode while at home now. Having an extra mount on the bottom is a great idea, as I have an adhesive mount for my power bank. Next on my list will be buying a PS Portal grip and phone mount! The Mechanism ecosystem is something else and I love it!
