In short, YES!

In long, yes with a caveat. We have released device specific grips for the following devices:

For all other devices, including if you have a case on your device, we recommend the Universal Grip.

Doesn't work well, Basegrip barely holds

I purchased a basegrip with pillow and kickstand for my Ally X earlier this year. I was pretty excited for the products, both being able to stand the device on my desk as well as use the pillow.

However, this grip does not work 90% of the time. It has always felt like any of the mounts don't follow slot into the grip all the way, meaning I'm basically using the kickstand as something to lean against. Very precarious, incredibly frustrating.

Moving on to the pillow. Because it has a lock, if you use enough force to the point where it feels like its about to break you can get the grip and device to stay on, but it does not work as intended and I've basically stopped using either all together because the quality and ease of use are not there.

I left 2 stars because I can see the vision, but the quality and execution are simply not there.

Solid option if you have no case

I tried this with comfortgrips but found I didn't like comfortgrips. That said, if you have no case on, this is a great option. The attachment is in the optimal place to make sure of the flexible accessories.

It's perfect

I got the base grip and grip stand for the ROG Ally X and it's perfect combo. It doesn't add to much weight and fits perfectly. It's exactly what I was looking for

Does exactly what it says on the tin!

Heard nothing but good things about the grip for the the steam deck and original Ally (amongst others). Ordered as soon as the Ally X became available. Simple to clip on and holds perfectly. Using with the VESA mount and had zero issues. Fantastic quality and given that this is a small company, the finish on the plastic looks amazing. Highly recommend.

Will this fit even with Skull & Co grip case? If not, any alternative?

Your best bet for the Skull & Co Case will be our adhesive Universal Grip, but I know that case is pretty flexible, and I've heard of a few people saying it has a hard time with adhesive due to the flex.
If you do decide to do it, make sure to follow these steps really well to give the adhesive it's best chance in life:

1) Wipe the surface using an alcohol wipe and let dry before adhering your mount.
2) Press down firmly to assist adhesion. This helps the adhesive seep in to all the micro textures of your device or case.
3)Although the grip works immediately, we recommend letting it stick (without stress) for 24 hours before using. The longer you wait, the stronger the bond will be.

Is the grip for the Rog Ally X compatible with tbe Rog Xbox Ally X? And if not, when will you make one available?

Mechanism

It won't be compatible right out of the box unfortunately. We are going to work on making a dedicated grip for the xbox ROG Ally, but unfortunatley we can't start designing that until we get our hands on one after the official launch.

Helllo, i need to know if the rog ally x grip will work with the ball mount with the ally x facing down. Will the grip hold the ally facing down?

It definitely does hold it upside down! Also, the ball socket mount actually has an added layer of protection via a locking latch on the back of it which makes it even sturdier.
