Not only did it come immediately after ordered it felt like. I now use it everywhere not only for my Rog Ally but also for my phone while lying in bed, while on the plane, and while waiting for all of my kids sports. One of the best purchases I've made
I have been wanting mechanism gaming pillow for awhile and I am super happy with this purchase. Like that my killswitch case can connect to it.
Now using my Steam Deck more for playing videos (YouTube, Rumble) than just playing games. The quality of the Gaming Pillow is high with durable construction. Before it arrived, I thought that it would be bigger and therefore more unwieldy but have found the size just right to plunk down just about anywhere.
I think, for a version two, y’all should find a way to adjust the tension without needing an Allen wrench! I thought I had a perfectly tuned and then I put my steam deck on and got real cozy and realized that I needed more adjustments, which I couldn’t do on the fly without getting up and grabbing the Allen wrench again.
I really love how simple it is and how it helps me pickup and put down my steam deck.
I really like how this helps me use my phone with my deck. I tend to have a wiki or something open when I play some games. The only thing I wish was different was that it was longer so I could have my phone in portrait mode when I need to video call at the same time.
I decided to give this a try when it was on sale. I've found that this helps my ergonomics so I'm not straining my neck.
I love the idea, it's a little on the small side however and I get that it's like that for like ease of travel and what have you but I personally would like a slightly larger platform to rest my hands and wrists on while gaming in a resting position, I ultimately purchased this because playing the steam deck in my living room and bed is really uncomfortable after a short time and thought this would be the answer and it almost was, it's perfect for someone smaller I think.
Great for sticking on anything you want! Just make sure that it is the “outie” or the “innie”! Once it is stuck on, it don’t come off easily at all! Great customer service too!
I have a lot of different grips for my Switch OLED and they are all good in different ways. The one way they are not great is the fact they make the Switch OLED much bigger. The BaseGrip + is a nice middle ground. It is comfortable but not huge. Plus you now have the option to get accessories that fit the Mechanism ecosystem, like the gaming pillow, make your gaming experience more fun, comfortable, and convenient.
Works well. It's a good product, but the same set for the steam deck has an extra feature for the same price.
Used this to mount my ipad to the Mechanism gaming pillow and it's a treat to draw on! my only regret is I didnt buy more.
Used one of these to mount a battery pack to my steam deck and it's exceptional.
Ill start by saying that this thing is well made and I appreciate the problem they are trying to solve, however it does not actually solve the arm problem for me. I found that I was not able to hold my switch where I us usually do when I play laying down and my arms were lifted up too high which caused more discomfort instead of less. My original solution of just stuffing some pillows under each elbow works much better.
Also, the switch adapter that I had to pay extra for did not fit my particular switch setup which is very annoying. There are no clear images of the switch adapter and all of the other adapters seems to go over the screen part, not around the controller ends. I had to buy a universal mount separately which honestly should just come included in every order.
This pillow is amazing, it really does help with the arm fatigued you get when playing the steam deck
THE CLAW! This thing RULES; simple & effective, strong clamping power.
This has opened up a whole new world of possibilities in the probably-narrow but nonsensically-fun space of "things-I-can-attach-a-steamdeck-to", especially in situations where the gamer pillow or the kickstand aren't the first choice, the best choice, or the pro-claw choice.
If you often find yourself holding a steamdeck in the vicinity of clampable objects, I would HIGHLY recommend adding this deck-docking claw accessory to your Mechanism tool kit :)
Only problem is if you use the charging stand, you must remove the mount to charge. If you charge with the wire no problems!
Solid product. Got it for my magsafe phone case and also got it to have both my switch and phone together.
