The pillow is awesome! Smooth, stretchy fabric, whatever is inside is veeeery finely grained, the arm is very sturdy and if you really want to, you can swap the mount with some other ball-joint one - it's compatible.
Now, I did forget to grab a universal grip and even so, I'm using the pillow. Works great for a phone/ tablet/ Steam Deck stand just by leaning it against the arm 😄
I'm sold - quality is amazing and the basket already has a Deckmate bundle. 10/10 would recommend.
The pillow's description casually drops that you'll experience no more tingles. Thrilled to report that this is a massive understatement. I've had issues handling the weight and size of the Steam Deck that eventually led to persistent problems with my thumb, not to mention the strain it puts on the wrists.
Since using this pillow I haven't experienced any pain or discomfort from even extended periods of play, whether its balanced on my lap when I'm sitting up or perched on my chest when I'm fully horizontal in goblin mode. Absolutely delivers, worth every penny, highly recommend!
I don’t use the gaming pillow all the time but I’ve found myself using it a lot while playing Hades 2. Helps my arms and wrists relax without having to worry about how I’m holding my steam deck.
The design and execution for the Allymate Grip is flawless. I can game for hours on the Gaming Pillow - not the greatest thing for productivity, but if you got to do it, do it with the best grip out there for the Gaming Pillow!

Fits perfectly and feels better than the accessories that come with the modcase.
Play mostly in bed and this has best for my gaming comfort. My only issue is, at lower angles, the arm can't withstand the weight. But its most likely the JSAUX modcase adding more weight for it to handle. Still functional and nothing damaged. Very soft pillow too.

The engineering and design of this is pretty good, although I wish it had more articulation when the attached Steam Deck is at its lowest setting. Unfortunately I am unable to use the product much because the magnet strength isn't good enough to go through my phone's case. This is no fault of the product; it's a powerful magnet. Attaching the ring to the outside of the case is barely an option because of how it fits (my case has a built in kickstand that really interferes). I wish another ring or two had been included and they weren't available on the store the last time I checked. Still a fantastic product for people with normal phone cases.
Love the quality, materials and comfort. I do wish the attach point had a little more up-down adjustment angles.
This gaming pillow has changed the way I play games. It takes all of the weight out of my hands so I can game for as long as I want without getting uncomfortable. It’s perfect for easy browsing or watching YouTube, you name it. If you’re into any type of handheld electronic, you need this pillow.
When this was announced I knew it would be perfect for me as someone who plays mostly laying down on my couch and it definitely is a game changer. The unit arrived with one tension being too loose and the support team gave me a video to reference on how to tighten it and paid for me to get the correct hex tool to fix it. After that, I had a user issue where I didn’t know how to increase the ball socket tension and they provided me with a custom video showing me how to adjust it. Great experience overall!
It's funny how much more I play on the deck since getting the pillow. Not cheap, but worth it!
a lot of times when you pre-order a product based on some renders and mock-ups you end up disappointed. that was not the case here, the gaming pillow is very nicely made, the pillow is a comfy squishy material almost like a squishmallow. my only minor quibble is that left on its own it will eventually sag down under the weight of the steam deck and sit on the top of the pillow.
