Well built product, functions well on the back of my ROG Ally X for batteries, etc.
This is probably the 3rd or 4th time I’ve ordered products for handhelds. I have not bought multiple times because of issues, but because I needed more! The adhesive is perfect. The phone mount is what I mostly use, and this thing is just magical. The whole set is really. If you need anything to supplement or compliment your handheld, you literally cannot go wrong !

I am absolutely astonished by the quality of the product. It feels robust, but still light weight. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. The only nit pick would be that the color is ever so slightly off. Not noticeable unless you actively look for differences. All in all, very impressed.
Works amazingly with the steam deck. Holds it in place without dropping at all, the second batch really did fix the issue. Main complaint is that sometimes a small metal cylinder will slide out from the clip that keeps the clip attached to the ball joint in place. Better not lose it! It comes out often if you’re moving the pillow around a lot and is very small and easy to lose. Otherwise the clip will fall off too
This is a very nice product. I am a large headed individual so cranking my neck down for extended periods weighs heavily on my shoulders. This mechanism allows me to have it on my lap as I connect a PS5 controller to the deck and the experience is peak. Haven't tried too much with playing laying down using the "zero G" effect this pillow advertises but I'm sure it works well, it stays upright as advertised and can provide relief from the never ending force of gravity.
The universal grip did not work well for me but it appears to be my fault, when I reached out to the creator he immediately sent me the standard grip that can attach to the deck without a case. It is very sturdy and doesn't feel like it would break with "regular pressure" applied to it. The universal adhesive was supposed to be left alone for 24 hours before use and I barely waited 10 minutes. So on me I think! Can't go wrong with standard grip though!
Thanks again for sending the replacement grip! Leave the adhesive untouched for a while!
I bought this for my wife who loves her steam deck. She has paired this with a reader pillow to have the most comfortable, ergonomically wonderful setup for playing before bed. The quality seems great so far and the mounting arm has a stiffness to it that lets you position the deck at any height you want without worry of it falling down. This is a great product from my observations and my wife couldn't be happier. Thank you!!
I bought the Mechanism Gaming Pillow a bit on impulse after watching a YouTube review. The price was reasonable and felt worth trying it out. Initially, I had some trouble getting the Deckmate attached to the mount based on their youtube instructions, but once I figured out the latch beneath the spring mechanism, it was simple and now there's no trouble. As far as the overall product, I love it. The mounting arm is sturdy enough to hold the Steam Deck without any sagging, and the rotating ball lets you angle it as best suited for your seating position. The pillow allowed it to stay stable on a nearby table, or my lap, or even on my stomach to play lying down. And since the mount supports the weight, the only force you have to apply with your hands is just enough to grip the device and use the controls. I found myself playing for extended periods since it felt lighter to hold than a Nintendo Switch unit. You can certainly find cheaper pillows out there, but the mounting mechanism is really what brings the value for me. You can even use an adhesive mount to attach a powerbank to the upper padded surface to play for longer and away from an outlet. It's a great product for a couch gamer, and I'll likely order the attachment for the Nintendo switch next time.

My hands use to always go numb playing, now they haven't gone numb once since I got this! It's the accessory I didn't know I needed but can't live without now.
I don't use this phont mount often, but when I do, it works beautifully.
I had an issue with one of the screws breaking and reached out to mechanism to possibly purchase a replacement. instead they sent a whole unit! I was pretty surprised but glad they were so quick to communicate my issue and have it resolved.
This fixed the issue with the first gen pillow not tightening enough. Was easy to install.
This makes it possible to keep the cable nice and organized without putting torque on the part where it connects to the base. It fits in the cubby of the steamdeck case.
Simple, sturdy, and functional. No complaints!
Thanks to this I can have a game wiki open or a market for warframe open and still play or even read msg/dm's the only thing that's bad about it and i actually think it's because of my phones material is the adhesive magsafe so I had to put it under my phone case otherwise great product and I'm actually going to add an adhesive wire organizer for the phone mount.
I absolutely love the Deck Pillow, it has completely transformed my Steam Deck experience and I use it way more frequently now since it’s so much more comfortable to use. The customer support is amazing, when I got my pillow the arm and ball joint were kind of loose, and I couldn’t quite get them tight enough to stop sagging over time, and I would have to readjust periodically. Siri actually reached out to me because they discovered a problem with how the factory was assembling them, and provided the correct parts free of charge (or the option to have a replacement pillow sent). It was an easy fix with the right part and now my pillow is perfect. Fantastic company and they deserve your consideration! I love this product!
This was a replacement Siri sent me for the nut that originally came with my Deck Pillow. The original one was not sized quite right and would not tighten enough to hold my deck. Siri identified this problem and reached out to me to provide this replacement free of charge! Works great now! This is a fantastic company and they make a great product that they stand firmly behind.
exactly what i needed to make my killswitch steam deck work with everything from Mechanism
since I'm always carrying my OLEDeck on the go, I needed some extra protection. I splurged and got the Killswitch Case, and I've been happy as can be. However, the MAJOR drawback was that none of my Mechanism (DeckMate) attachments worked anymore! I don't have a 3D printer so I couldnt engineer anything very easily. Finally the good folks at Mechanism had pity on us fools that mix and match brands and made the Killswitch adapter! I preordered and once they released it came quickly. It fits SNUG in the killswitch case, like VERY snug, but with a little use it gets a little easier- but it doesnt need to be removed once installed- NOW I can marry my Killswitch to all of my Mechanism mounts and accessories! The adapter is sturdy and clips reliably into both sides. Another quality product from mechanism- I'm a happy customer!
