This is a really great product! It feels premium and well-built and holds my Legion Go easily and sturdily. It's "bean bag" pillow makes it super comfortable and light to lay in your lap. I have the phone mount, too, which works great with my iPhone 17 Pro Max. You're able to remove the long arm and just use the magnetic part of the mount directly on the second Mechanism mount on the pillow. It does interfere a little bit with the main arm for the Legion Go; meaning that the Legion Go can't lower as far without hitting the phone. But, if you have a smaller phone you should be good, and it was still very comfortable to hold and interact with the Legion Go while gaming. I will definitely be looking at purchasing an additional mount for the plane and other travel, as this is very sturdy and the clips that mount the device to the Mechanism pillow do a great job of securing the device. Overall, this is a must buy for any gaming handheld owner.

This magnificent creation has allowed me to use my steam deck 3x more than I normally would because it completely eliminates forearm strain after prolonged use. Fantastic invention yall!!
This thing is as amazing as it looks. I have a steamd deck, Portal, and Switch 2 and its made my time playing portable much more enjoyable.
I'm chronically ill and spend a good amount of time in bed if I can't handle being at my desk, and the Switch 2 - while being my go-to handheld - is not super handheld-friendly. It's heavy, and a bit too large for many comfortable positions. I'm grateful to be able to have the Gaming Pillow on my lap, or set up nearby in a way that feels secure!

There is room for some improvements in this device In my opinion. Primarily I think the pillow needs to be heavier. Using a device like the legion go s with killswitch case can easily cause the pillow to topple towards you when laying down and having the arm tilted low, which is pretty much required for a mostly reclined position.
However. There's a silver lining here in that regard. Imagine you redesigned a new 2.0 pillow, but rather than just adding some gusseted sections with a denser material to add weight, you added a Bluetooth speaker system. You could even go a step further and add a usb c dock system on the top so that you could plug your device into the pillow, and the pillow to power. Allowing a couple more usb c connections for controllers or other devices.
Now certainly some would want that, but definitely I think most would want the speaker system. I think you'd be hard pressed to keep them in stock if the price wasn't crazy.
Anyways I am enjoying this product, and looking forward to many comfortable evenings of gaming to come. And the Bluetooth variant. Keep up the great work.
i love the basegrip for the switch 1. i just really with they would make the basegrip for the switch 2 hold games the same way.

If you ask my wife how much I fiddle with propping/mounting my steam deck up, she would roll her eyes. I’ve tried everything under the sun to hang my steam deck over my bed and it typically ends with it falling on my face. But when I saw that Mechanism offers not only a claw mount, but an adapter for my specific steam deck case, I got SO EXCITED! It honestly works so great and now I can play laying on my back with my dualsense controller, without fear of black eye! I would highly recommend these products! and although kinda silly, I hope to buy the lap pillow one day. But dang this claw mount is CLUTCH!

Securely holds my iPhone 17 Pro Max. My other magsafe stand doesn't squeak so loudly when rotating my phone but that is just a minor annoyance.
