Will this work with my power cord?

The Cablemate is designed to work with the Steam Deck power cord only.

Please note that the longer OLED power cord will fit but it is a bit snug.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, but because we are such a small company, we don't have the scale or volume to get good rates. This means that sometimes these rates are ludicrous.

Just know that we do not make money on this. What you pay is what we pay. It's just a shitty thing that exists because we aren't big enough yet.

What does your lifetime warranty mean?

In all honesty, we want to do business in an upfront and honest way. If you feel you deserve it, we will most likely honor it.

Chat us and you'll reach one of two people: Siri, the founder, or Saibi, his cousin that helps with customer service every once in a while.

The things that don't require good vibes though: Manufacturing defects, design problems, if specific things are breaking at no fault of your own.

Critically: we want to know what broke and how. This isn't to pass judgement on you. It helps us make the product better in the future, and to make sure your issue isn't something widespread.

Will the product make me a better gamer?

Secure, but difficult to wind

It does what it says, but I found the cable difficult to wind. I practically need a third hand to hold the rubber tie at an angle that allows me to wind the cable, and even then it feels as if there's not enough room on the spool. Once it's wound, though, it fits perfectly under the strap on my Deck's case. 5 stars for the fit, but docking two for how hard it is to wind the cable on the spool.

For some reason I thought it would pull and retract like a tape measure to coil the entire cord every time, but for just holding the excess it is very good.

Makes organization easier

This makes it possible to keep the cable nice and organized without putting torque on the part where it connects to the base. It fits in the cubby of the steamdeck case.

Fits perfectly

No more awkward wrapping of the Steam Deck charger and trying to tuck it into the little handle on the back. This manages the cables very effectively and fits perfectly into the Steam Deck carrying case.

cord and kickstand organizer

I was not an early pre-order for the SD but after 18 months of waiting I was thrilled to get it. Then 2 months later I discovered Deckmate and the kickstand, game changer! I was always like how am I going to keep the charger from falling out the back and the kickstand from getting lost or not scratching my SD screen? I came across this and knew when it came from the makers of Deckmate I had to have it. GENIUS, it is the perfect solution and I wish I could have bought them together initially.
