In long, yes with a caveat. You'll need a grip to attach it to. We have released device specific grips for the following devices:

- PS Portal
For all other devices, including if you have a case on your device, we recommend the Universal Grip.

In all honesty, we want to do business in an upfront and honest way. If you feel you deserve it, we will most likely honor it.
Chat us and you'll reach one of two people: Siri, the founder, or Saibi, his cousin that helps with customer service every once in a while.
The things that don't require good vibes though: Manufacturing defects, design problems, if specific things are breaking at no fault of your own.
Critically: we want to know what broke and how. This isn't to pass judgement on you. It helps us make the product better in the future, and to make sure your issue isn't something widespread.

Much better than the original
Only gripe is that I can't use it for my tablet as its too heavy for the stand
I was very happy with the original Kickstand for my JSAUX Modcase on my Steam Deck. However, after going through at least two of the original Kickstands (shout out to you Siri for the replacement), I decided to wait it out a bit after the last one broke on me.
So after some time I went back and decided that I’ll get another, only to find out that it was redesigned from the ground up!
The major changes that went into this version versus the original were a major quality of life upgrade. The added rubber section also helps to keep your device where you need it without fear of the Kickstand collapsing or moving around while you play.
Not only that but to see the Mechanism logo on it adds a nice cherry on top of what is an already amazing product.
As for why I didn’t just use the free replacement option for my broken original Kickstand to get this one? Because I like to support a small business when and where I can. I didn’t feel right asking for another freebie when this is an already affordable piece of hardware. In the words of Jeremy Clarkson: “you’re arguing with people over a dollar. It doesn’t mean much to you but it means. A LOT to them; just pay them what they’re asking”.
Easy to put on and take off. The resistance in the spring mechanism is great and I like the range of motion on top of the bottom rubber coating. Big win!
