FAQs

Does it work with my device?

In short, YES!

In long, yes with a caveat. We have released device specific grips for the following devices:

  • Steam Deck
  • Nintendo Switch
  • ROG Ally
  • ROG Ally X
  • PS Portal

For all other devices, including if you have a case on your device, we recommend the Universal Grip.

Will it hold my phone?

The only way it works right now with a phone is if you use our Phone mount and clip it to the bottom Mechanism clip on the hard pillow top. Here is how to configure your Phone Mount to work with the Gaming Pillow.

The Mechanism mount at the top of the pillow mount is male, meaning the mating piece would have to be female (like the Universal Grip for example).

You could in theory adhere the Universal grip on the back of your phone case, but it's probably thicker than you'd like and it would interfere with the Magsafe.

For this reason, we DO NOT currently recommend using the Gaming Pillow specifically for only your phone.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, but because we are such a small company, we don't have the scale or volume to get good rates. This means that sometimes these rates are ludicrous.

Just know that we do not make money on this. What you pay is what we pay. It's just a shitty thing that exists because we aren't big enough yet.

What does your lifetime warranty mean?

In all honesty, we want to do business in an upfront and honest way. If you feel you deserve it, we will most likely honor it.

Chat us and you'll reach one of two people: Siri, the founder, or Saibi, his cousin that helps with customer service every once in a while.

The things that don't require good vibes though: Manufacturing defects, design problems, if specific things are breaking at no fault of your own.

Critically: we want to know what broke and how. This isn't to pass judgement on you. It helps us make the product better in the future, and to make sure your issue isn't something widespread.

Will the product make me a better gamer?

Best thing I didn't know I needed

You know there are those things in life you see and think "oh that looks neat..", but then you get your hands on one and realize "why in the name of everything good didn't I get this sooner?" That's exactly what I went through with the gaming pillow. After looking at it for a few months, I finally went for it, and it's phenomenal. I never had any problem holding my Ally normally, but after using it with the gaming pillow.. *chef's kiss* Words can't do justice to just how nice it is. If you're on the fence about getting one, do yourself a favor and go for it.

A plus that wasn't explicitly advertised: throw your phone holder on it if little ones want to watch videos or something; less grubby little hands all over your phone, and less likely to disappear!

Pillow for Deck and Switch

I got the basegrip for the switch to...switch things up after my Hori Split Pad Pro got stick drift. I was curious about the mount slot on the back and looked into it on Mechanism and saw that there was a pillow available but thought it was silly. Then after a couple nights of playing my switch in bed getting tingling arms and wrist pain I decided to buy the pillow, it is a bit high on the price but I had some disposable income, otherwise I probably wouldn't have gone in for it. It came with a grip for my steam deck for only an extra $5 which was nice. It has been great so far. I spent the first night a bit unsure about it but as I have used it I have gotten better at getting comfortable with it. I'm 6' and find that it's a pretty good size for me, but if you've got pretty long or short arms you may want to evaluate. The material and construction is quality in my opinion, with the arm tightened just right I can move it without having to use the hex key and still have it hold my steam deck. I've tried it in bed and on the couch sitting or laying and it can do both comfortably.

Overall, very nice leisure-luxury quality of life product, was better than I thought it was going to be but a bit spendy. Would buy again if I had a few extra bucks.

sometimes it falls, needs a little bit balancing support maybe at the bottom of the arm. angle can be improved little bit more. other than these 2 small issyes, very happy with the product, bottom part is awesome, overall great product!

This is amazing
