What does a preorder really mean?
The only time we do preorders is after we have confirmation that the product is fully loaded and shipped on a vessel. This sets our delivery timeline in stone, since everything has already been manufactured and shipped.
In this case, our vessel has been confirmed and our container is getting loaded by the end of the week (8/16).
Is the Switch 2 Basecase Dockable?
You can use the OEM Nintendo Dock with the included Dock Stick. One of these comes standard with every Basecase.
Where are the 3D files?
You'll be able to find them on our Printables and Makerworld account as we get closer to launch!
Do I need to be a Maker/3D printer to enjoy this case?
Absolutely not! While most of the expansion possibilites right now are for 3D printers only, we do plan to release a bunch of cool stuff to support the Basecase over time.
Different colors, textures, and functionality for backplates, as well as more ergonomic grip options will become available!
Some of the prints you show are awesome, but I don't have my own printer! Will you make them available for purchase?
We will be releasing different backplates with new colors, textures, and functionality, as well as new Joycon Grips over time.
Everything we sell on the site is Injection Molded, so we'll use the popularity of different 3D files to determine what we should make next!
